Privacy Policy: While the essence of our privacy policy hasn't changed, it now has to be a little bit more explicit. All data about our clients is treated as Strictly Confidential and is held in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

What information does Kitty Kare hold on its clients? The personal information that Kitty Kare has recorded on its client forms and online booking system is as follows:

1. Any data submitted by someone via the bookings enquiries button or via our testimonials button at www.kittykare.co.uk. This information is automatically emailed to enquiries@kittykare.co.uk and is automatically downloaded. The mail software solely used for this purpose is password protected. THE KITTY KARE PET SERVICES WEBSITE ITSELF DOES NOT HOLD ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION.

2. Any data submitted via the Kitty Kare Facebook Page, including Facebook's messaging service and Instagram. The accounts are all password protected and administered only by Kitty Kare management.

3. Any information sent via cellular/data text message to any telephone number operated by Kitty Kare.

4. Kitty Kare also holds the data contained on any hardcopy forms completed by a client. Your completed 'Service Agreement/client information document' is retained in hard copy in a secure locked filing cabinet in a locked office and is used by Kitty Kare pet sitting services only to provide the care for your pets as specified by you in that document. This is the only source of your data that we use unless you provide new information to replace any of it.

5. Your basic contact details (name, address, telephone numbers, email address) will additionally be stored in a private electronic database accessible only to Kitty Kare management. Please let us know at any time should you wish to have your details removed from this. Should you no longer wish to use our services please let us know, and we will delete all data.

Why does Kitty Kare hold data on its clients? Kitty Kare will use your name, address, telephone number, or email address stored on contract forms or on our database. This information is used for the following:

1. To confirm/arrange future bookings.
2. To update you on your pets whilst you are away (if requested) via email, Facebook, WhatsApp, SMS, as agreed.

Transferring data to third parties: Your personal information will never be shared with other persons or organizations. Kitty Kare will not sell or otherwise forward the personal information of any client/prospective client to any third party. We would only share information if required by law to do so.

Deletion of personal data - The 'right to be forgotten': Should you no longer wish to use our service, please inform us, and any details held in our records will be destroyed. Similarly, any information sheet that has not been used in the past 24 months will be destroyed (shredded or burned).

Enquiries: Should a client or prospective client have any comments or questions regarding the use and protection of their personal information by Kitty Kare, they are asked to please contact Kitty Kare in the first instance.
